If you make ASMR, you have probably hesitated over a platform because you were not sure what you were being signed up to. It is a fair thing to check, and most platforms are vague about it, so here is ours in plain terms.
The short version
VireliaVault is marked 18+. It carries no nudity and no erotic content. The content profile is ordinary ASMR: whispering, tapping, fabric and material sounds, personal attention, roleplay, sleep aids.
Those two sentences sit together deliberately, and they surprise people, so it is worth explaining why both are true at once.
Why an 18+ label at all
The label is not a description of the content. It is a description of who we let in.
Running an adults-only account system means we are not moderating for a child audience, not subject to the rules that apply to services minors use, and not asking creators to make work that would be safe for a twelve year old to stumble into. That is a meaningful difference for ASMR, a genre that is constantly demonetised and age-restricted on general platforms for reasons nobody ever explains.
In other words, the label exists so that your ordinary ASMR video does not get treated as an edge case.
Why no nudity
Because that is a different business with different rules, different payment processors, different fees and a different audience.
Platforms carrying explicit content pay processors far more, which comes out of creator earnings, and they operate under age-verification laws written for pornography. Staying on the other side of that line is what lets us run on ordinary payment infrastructure and keep the commission where it is.
It is also, frankly, the thing most ASMR creators tell us they want. Not being sorted into the same drawer as adult work is the point.
What this means for you in practice
- Your audience has to have an account and confirm they are an adult. Fewer accidental visitors, more people who came on purpose.
- You are not competing for attention against explicit content, because there is none.
- You are not asked to escalate. Nothing about the platform rewards going further than you want to.
- Your work stays yours. There is no exclusivity, so YouTube, TikTok and everything else continue exactly as before.
Where the line sits
We would rather be specific than reassuring.
Nudity and sexual content are not allowed. Content that is suggestive in the way plenty of mainstream ASMR already is, meaning how you look, what you wear, how close you are to the microphone, is ordinary here and is why the 18+ gate exists at all.
If you are wondering whether a particular idea fits, the honest answer is that the question is worth asking us directly rather than guessing from a policy page. We would rather answer once than have you record something first.
One thing we do not pretend
An 18+ label has a cost. Search engines treat adults-only sites differently and some regions require age verification for anything carrying that label, which is why the site is not available everywhere yet.
We took that trade knowingly. The alternative was moderating for a general audience, which is exactly the situation ASMR creators are trying to get out of.
